The village of Campiglia Marittima represents my origins, my great-grandma I fortunately met, my grandparents, my mother and my dad – cause he came from Umbria he wanted to be called “papa”, even in this area where dad – and who perhaps even loved Campiglia Marittima and our family house more than my mother, where the Suites are later created.
I returned grown up after years of ignoring and almost forgetting it. A youthly mistake, which I have deleted today with a special love for this place.
I love everything about this land: colors, scents, roughness, authenticity, wine, food and much more.
I feel in myself that this is where my roots are. This is the place where I want to live today and in the future.
Why don't I share this love and these beauties with people who may not yet know these places?
And so, in 2010, the idea arose to transform the old family house into a tourist structure, the "Sestosenso Suites".
In 2014 followed the verry close and small Sestosenso gourmet restaurant.
Finally, in 2021 the old house which is right in the village was renovated, two Suites were built to which I gave the nicknames that my grandparents had (La Brogia Massaia and Il Boffa Ballerino) and, to the house, the name of my mother ( Losanna Suites) because it was precisely here that it was born in 1929.
This is the little world of Sestosenso that has captivated and enchanted me so much.
I would like to share this, with all those who would like to know this.
